Scientists identify danger zones in coastal cities.
"A computer model that can predict the impact of a tsunami from the San Francisco Bay area to Alaska is helping scientists plot danger zones in coastal cities to guide emergency planning...A similar magnitude 9 undersea earthquake near the center of a 600-mile long area called the Cascadia subduction zone off the West Coast could devastate an area from Cape Mendocino in Northern California to British Columbia in Canada..."
