Is Faux History Still History?

Philadelphians debate whether an imitation colonial-style building from the 1960s should be preserved for its historic significance.
The question of whether recent architecture qualifies as worthy of preservation is fueling controversy in Philadelphia's Society Hill neighborhood--ironically since the area is known for the preservation of colonial buildings at the expense of other eras.
