Efforts to restore Lake Tahoe are finally starting to gain speed.
Efforts to restore Lake Tahoe and protect its shores,streams, forests and fields are finally starting to gain speed as California's environmental leaders channel $100 million for the effort. The announcement has "...brought a new sense of optimism to researchers, local leaders and environmentalists who have been working for decades to protect one of California's most popular natural meccas."
