Understanding Homelessness

Students learn about the causes of homelessness.
"Designed according to California academic standards, the 45-minute lesson plan focuses on the causes of homelessness and creates an understanding of who the homeless are in the region...For the students, the most illuminating part of the lesson may have been learning that people become homeless for a variety of reasons, and sometimes through no fault of their own."
