Developing A Downtown 'Crown Jewel'

Aggressive development of the last section of prime, undeveloped land in the heart of downtown Columbia, Maryland, is challenged by residents.
"Many believe the board's decision could set the direction of Columbia's downtown for years to come. In their letters to the Planning Board, the village boards called the site the Town Center's "most significant remaining property for development.' "
