List of Endangered Species Growing

The World Conservation Union urges governments and businesses worldwide to take action.
"The world's list of endangered species is growing at an alarming and unprecedented rate as governments pay less and less attention to green issues, the world's conservation watchdog said...he World Conservation Union, which also goes under the acronym IUCN, said it would release its annual red list of more than 12,000 threatened species at the World Conservation Congress in Thailand, which starts on Nov. 17."
