400-acre Infill Site Now In Hands Of Production Builders

Will the new urbanist plan come to fruition?
The 400 acres of Potomac Yard in Alexandria, Virginia, is now owned by Pulte and Centex. Residents are concerned they may not hew to the approved 1999 plan, which calls for 2 million square feet of office, 735,000 square feet of retail, 2200 mixed residential units, and 61 acres of parkland.
