The Legislature recently realized that infrastructure and transit are integral to a states continued economic prosperity.
The Legislature passed a budget making infrstructure and transit primary concerns. But what really happened during the days of deadlock? LAO Analyst Jason Weller--who specializes in transportation finance--was there throughout the process and gives a frontline account of what was going on behind closed doors.
