"Cadillac Desert" Author Dies

Environmental writer Marc Reisner's book "Cadillac Desert" detailed the misuse of water in the West.
Marc Reisner, 51, died of cancer, July 21, at his home in San Rafael, CA. His book "Cadillac Desert" detailed the the misuse of water in the West and the damage caused by extensive dam building. The books was ranked as one of the 100 most notable nonfiction English language works published in the 20th century.
