A Plan To End Sprawl In Southern Ontario

Ontario considers legislation to control sprawl and channel development towards urban centers.
The Province of Ontario has drafted a plan to restrict sprawl and direct development to "priority urban centres" and "emerging urban centres." According to the Minister of Infrastructure Renewal "For the first time in our history we are trying to manage population growth and economic expansion in a rational, intelligent way, instead of simply trying to catch up,"
