British Social Housing Programs in Disarray

Recently released report accuses the British government's housing agency of having "lost its vision."
There is "considerable confusion about which agency is responsible for social housing" and the government should start "championing social housing", according to a recently released report on the state of public housing in Britain. "Greater integration of social housing funds and land ownership in the areas covered by the communities plan is required to maximise the amount of affordable housing."
