Phoenix may be America's fifth largest city but it has a lot to learn from the city it passed, Philadelphia.
The Arizona Republic, to honor Phoenix's assumption of the title "America's Fifth City," dedicates an entire issue to what the contextless boomtown can learn from the City of Brotherly Love, and where each has succeeded and failed.
