University of California professor is developing robotsto automatically respond to traffic emergenciesfaster than humans could.
Southern California's traffic jams cost the state millions of dollars a year. Professor Mohan Trivedi of the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) is developing a plan to use robots to automatically respond to traffic emergencies faster than humans could. A prototype systemwill be installed at UCSD later this summer
