23 June 2004 - 2:00pm

Denver's Cherry Creek Bike Rack is the first-of-its-kind bicycle parking facility and urban transportation center in Colorado, offering commuters, residents, and visitors to Cherry Creek North free bicycle parking.

"Commuters who prefer a bicycle path instead of a highway to get to Cherry Creek North can work through the day knowing their two-wheeler is safely tucked away at The Bike Rack, the city's first, free "bicycle day-care center." The Bike Rack, a 1,000-square-foot storage and information center at 171 Detroit St. -- in the new Clayton Lane development at First Avenue and University Boulevard -- will offer free, indoor bicycle parking as well as information about carpooling and the Regional Transportation District. It opened June 17."
