Celebrities Donate For Headwaters Bond

Major donations from celebrity entertainers help environmentalists meet court deadline to post a $250,000 bond to temporarily halt logging near the Headwaters preserve in the North Coast regionof California.
Entertainers Bonnie Raitt, Don Henley and James Garner donated money to two environmental groups suing the Pacific Lumber Company over logging in the Headwaters Forest area of California. The Sierra Club and Environmental Protection Information Center thad until Wednesday to post a $250,000 bond to temporarily halt logging near the Headwaters Forest.Major donations from celebrity entertainers help environmentalists meet the court deadline
