South Scottsdale's Renaissance

One of the Scottsdale's most controversial pieces of land may become an ASU's research campus.
"The land at McDowell and Scottsdale roads, about two miles north of ASU's main campus, would become the ASU Scottsdale Center for New Technology and Innovation... Los Arcos has long been envisioned as the cornerstone for south Scottsdale's redevelopment. The new project positions the older part of Scottsdale 'to be the Valley's next hotspot for residential and business revitalization,' Mayor Mary Manross said. 'It's the start of a true renaissance for this area.' "
