Entire State Of Vermont Endangered By Wal-Mart

National Trust for Historic Preservation says the entire state of Vermont is endangered by Wal-Mart.
"to some Vermonters, the cavernous store in this Burlington suburb symbolizes something else: the big-box-ification of a largely unspoiled part of the country... With that in mind, a national historic preservation group said Monday that it was placing on its annual list of endangered sites an unusual entry: the state of Vermont."
