Keeping the Richmond Ferry Afloat

Op Ed Columnist Karen Hershenson bemoans the fate of the Richmond Ferry, currently slated to be discontinued September 17, while offering solutions on how to keep it going.
The Richmond Ferry offers passengers a pleasant respite from the rigours of commuting. The respite will be over September 17 unless riders are successful in their grassroots campaign to keep the Ferry afloat. Karen Hershenson offers solutions, like a more visible launch site and increased advertising.
