What Role Should Big Industry Play In Protecting The Environment?

British environmental groups upset over prime minister's backing of new climate change group supported by big business.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair has thrown his support behind the Climate Group, an international business alliance which brings together financial institutions, business leaders and politicians to identify "best practice" on carbon emissions and climate change. "By bringing together progressive businesses, states and cities from across the world, the Climate Group will enable these organisations to show leadership and to demonstrate the benefits of taking early action to cut greenhouse gas emissions."
