New Century, New Park Planning

Architects are re-envisioning Chicago's famous lakefront and addressing the question: "What should a park look like in the 21st century?"
In recognition of the fact that people live differently today than they did 100 years ago when Daniel Burnham designed the city's lakefront, a Chicago-based foundation has organized a conceptual design competition to push the envelope as to how we approach park planning.
