Behind the local Indian buffet lies a whole community

In Emeryville, California, a burgeoning community of Indian immigrants is revitalizing everything from schools to love.
Just two miles away from a large established Indian immigrant community in Berkeley, California, a new and smaller group of Indians are establishing themselves in the city of Emeryville. Like other Indian communities across the world, the immigrants are also revitalizing the area in through retail, housing indian restaurants, and a contagious enthusiasm for education.
