Fortune Magazine's #1 most-admired company is facing increased opposition to new construction of its "supercenters" in California and elswhere around the U.S. "Across the USA, Wal-Mart faces backlash where it once found welcome mats." Some California communities will share their opinions about big-box retail today at the voting booth.
