Property Values Skyrocket in Santa Cruz

Property values in Santa Cruz County, CA, have gone up by 8 percent over the previous year.
Santa Cruz County Assessor reports that the 1999 county assessment roll rose almost 8 percent over 1998 to almost 19.5 billion. The booming real estate market saw 6,800 changes of ownership in 1999 while new construction added $132 million to the assessment roll
