Beachfront town selects Rick Cole, former mayor of Pasadena and current city manager of Asuza, California.
The City Council in Ventura, California, selected Rick Cole to serve as its next City Manager. A former mayor of Pasadena and longtime advocate of "Smart Growth," Cole has served as city manager of Azusa, California, for the last five years. He brings knowledge of planning issues and an innovative approach to the former oil town, which has a strong downtown and lots of infill potential.
