The City of Palo Alto, CA, is facing a housing shortage. The city's planners suggest evicting doctors, dentists, and medical practitioners near Stanford University to make room for more housing. A grass-roots effort started by an orthodontist has begun organizing petitions and fliers to inform patients of the plan. Officials said the evictions might not take place for several years.
