Traffic, Housing Concerns at Moffett Hearing

At a public hearing focusing on NASA's plans for a formal naval air base in Mountain View, CA, residents expressed concern over traffic, housing, and public transportation issues.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration representatives presented four plans for developing Moffett Field's 2000 acres bordering Mountain View and Sunnyvale. This is the first of three hearings. The next hearings will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at U.S. Space Camp California, Eagle Room, at NASA/Ames Main Gate on Moffett Boulevard; and from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Sunnyvale City Hall, Council Chambers, 456 W. Olive St.
