A profile of Rem Koolhaas, the highly influential superarchitect who earned his popularity by writing aboutarchitecture.

In 1978, Rem Koolhaas wrote a book about architecture in New York that made him immensely popular with architects. Since then his writings and ideas have been highly influential especially with younger architects. A profile of the man the noted architect Frank Gehry calls "...one of the great thinkers of our time."
