The Industry Standard lists the 50 most connected urban markets in the US, and 18 Metro Areas with more than 50% of people online.
Topped-ranked City is Washington D.C. with 66% of adults using the Internet at home or work. Among the top half: San Francisco (2), Los Angeles (8), San Diego (11), and Sacramento (23). 19 metro areas have more than 50 percent of people online, including San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.
