New Jersey Transit Village Initiative Evaluated

Transit village initiative is one tool in New Jersey's smart growth policy framework.
The Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers University has released the results of their one year study of New Jersey's transit village initiative. The Transit Village Initiative is "a program that seeks to revitalize and grow selected communities with transit as an anchor." Multiple state agencies meet regularly to coordinate and guide the program. [Editor's note - this page contains links to pdf versions of the different report sections]
