Inaccessible Sidwalks, Deadly Streets

Forced to roll in street due to unusable sidewalks, a wheelchair user is killed by SUV.
"The lack of adequate sidewalks puts wheelchair users at risk in using streets. Police tell wheelchair users to not use street, but there is no alternative. "The narrow, buckled sidewalks frequently are blocked with telephone poles, fire hydrants and business awning poles...Riding in the streets is something many wheelchair-bound people often are forced to do."
