Moscow's Architectural Crisis

Moscow's architectural heritage is being demolished despite protests by historians, architects and residents.
"Old Moscow could soon be no more. The historical heart of the city is facing a grim future under Mayor Yury Luzhkov...Throughout Moscow there is anger, with protests from Krylatskoye to Kuznetsky Most, as residents fight against the new developments that they say marks the destruction of the city's history by its own government."
