Disney: A Bumpy Ride in Glendale

7 July 2000 - 11:45am

Impacts of Disney's proposed "creative campus" on a 125-acre site in Glendale are released in a draft environmental review.

Prepared by the Glendale Redevelopment Agency, the draft environmental impact report says that the addition of nearly 8,000 workers and renovation of the site near the Golden State and Ventura freeway junction will have "unavoidable significant impact" on noise, air quality and traffic. Plans call for 3.6 million square feet of offices, sound stages and studio production facilities.
