Omaha By Design

A group of citizens is working to improve design standards in Omaha. Will their efforts be successful in winning over the development community? "This effort is more than the musings of academics, city planners or architects... As Omaha has been transformed in recent years with the opening of the riverfront, the addition of the First National Tower, the World-Herald's Freedom Center, the Omaha Convention Center and Arena and the Gallup University campus, some negatives have been exposed. Examples abound of recent construction that might be barred if Omaha By Design generates new standards."
