Community Proves Wal-Mart Is Not 'Unstoppable'

Oregon county rejects Wal-Mart's expansion plans.
"Hood River County Commissioners have rejected Wal-Mart's plans to build a 186,000-square-foot "superstore" in the Columbia gorge tourist town. The decision Monday night elated those who have fought for nearly two years to keep the larger store out of Hood River."
