Ft. Lauderdale seeks to revitalize its original Main Street.
"During the next 20 years, the neighborhood, the city's focal point in the 1930s, is slated to become a walkable extension of downtown filled with sidewalk eateries, tony boutiques, loft-style residences, mid-rise mixed-use office buildings, light industrial businesses and housing for hospital employees."
