Light Rail And Terrorism

Officials oppose plans for a light-rail line behind the federal building in Sacramento, CA due to terrorism concerns.
"In a terse letter citing security concerns at the downtown federal courthouse, U.S. officials say they oppose a Sacramento Regional Transit plan for a light-rail line behind the federal building..." An earlier letter requests "that the city's expanded downtown transit center and new rail lines be built 'at an appreciable distance from the courthouse.'... In his letter, Levi argued that federal officials must plan for heightened security 'in our postOklahoma City/post 9-11 world,' including a 'worst-case scenario in which we become a terrorist or other target.'"
