Development Takes Its Toll On Chicago's Neighborhoods.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the city of Chicago's "demolition delay" amendment, instituted to protect Chicago's architectural assets, has had little impact in its first year.

This is the final article in series that brought to light the fact that as a result of development, the city and its neighborhoods were loosing hundreds of buildings, many of which had been identified by the Department of Planning and Development as "significant in the context of their communiites".
