NJ Light Rail Project Opens Ahead Of Schedule

Two years ahead of schedule, the 22nd Street station extends the services of the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail system farther south by a dozen blocks.
"'The extension of the 22nd Street not only provides local residents and regional commuters with even more light rail access into Bayonne's central business district, it is a continuation of our commitment to provide quality service to our customers, while reducing traffic in traffic-clogged cities,' said NJ Transit Executive Director George D. Warrington.
