California Traffic Budget Criticized

A plan to pay for transportation projects is being called a breakthrough but critics says it isinadequate.
The new state budget contains the biggeststate expenditure for mitigating California's trafficproblems but critics call it inadequate andsay that it sets a bad precedent. However, supporters call theplan, which allocates $6.8 billion for transportationfor the next 6 years, a "breakthrough."
