Atlanta, Ga., leads the country with more sprawl than any other place in the U.S., according to SprawlCity.
"Next on the list of cities with the most sprawl are Houston with 638 square miles, New York City/Northeast New Jersey with 541 square miles, Washington, D.C., with 450 square miles, and Philadelphia with 412 square miles of sprawl. Los Angeles -- the city perhaps best known for sprawl -- clocks in sixth on the list with 393 square miles."
