HUD selects ESRI to Develop GIS Standard

Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) has been selected by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to develop, install, and maintain an agencywide standard GIS platform.
Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) has been selected by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to develop, install, and maintain an agencywide standard GIS platform. The softwarewhich will be a part of HUD's Community 2020 programwill be distributed to federal, state, and local agencies. ESRI will develop a community-planning tool for individuals involved in local community development with data andmapping capabilities.
