Utah Rewards Small Town Smart Growth

Utah plans to direct funds to rural areas that plan ahead.
Utah's governor and state Quality Growth Commission "plan to roll out the 'Quality Growth Communities Initiative,' which will funnel existing funds from various state agencies to rural communities that commit to providing affordable housing, preserving open space and creating economic and infrastructure plans that put a premium on quality of life."
