How eminent domain is being used in San Diego's Proposition MM.
If the government wants to build its project on your property, there isn't much you can do to stop it.Government agencies such as school districts, cities and water districts have a powerful tool at their disposal called eminent domain, which is used to condemn private property needed for public projects.
