Lawmakers Seek To Repeal 'Smart Growth' Law

In Wisconsin, opponents of its "Smart Growth" law worry about erosion of properties rights and complain that land-use plans are too expensive.
"A group of Republican state lawmakers is trying to repeal the 'Smart Growth'law that requires all communities to develop comprehensive land-use plans by 2010.In legislation introduced last week, the lawmakers - many representing towns in rural areas - say the entire idea should be scrapped
