Europe's Deadliest Roads

Although a high profile education campaign has decreased the number of road deaths by 18% since last year, France still has Europe's deadliest roads.
"Motorbikes zoom down Parisian pavements, cars ignore zebra crossings and the honking of horns during rush hour is constant -- welcome to France's roads, home of some of the world's most irate drivers... The main killers on French roads are alcohol and speed. In a country where a few glasses of wine with an evening meal are the norm... almost a third of fatal accidents involved drivers who are over the limit."
