Glendale Shoots To Recover Arena Building Costs

Slated Westgate retail megaplex near the new Glendale, AZ hockey arena is expected to be the city's panacea.
"Financing is not yet complete, the national economy remains unsteady, and pro hockey will face a crucial contract showdown next year. Ellman is racing the calendar to avoid paying a fine as high as $1 million to the city if his project fails to meet a sales tax revenue target in the next two years."
