Computer Networks To Monitor Neighborhoods

Technology developed by a Silicon Valley startup will warnneighborhood residents about natural disasters and intruders.
Technology developed by Vicinium, a Silicon Valley startup, will create a community network that provides neighborhood residents with local information and news as well as warnings about natural disastersand intruders. It could be used to relay traffic updates as wellas information from local schools and businesses. The product will be tested later this year.
