A World Model For Urban Living

Vancouver, the city awarded the 2010 Winter Olympics, is a world model for urban design and quality of life. it is envied for its ability to develop attractive high-density downtown residential neighborhoods.
Vancouver takes a "co-operative planning approach" that seeks consensus between staff, politicians, developers and citizens, and employs a discretionary regulatory framework that emphasizes guidelines and incentives over regulations.
