An Aerial Skyway For Portland?
4 July 2003 - 1:00pm
Don Larson proposes an aerial skyway for Portland, OR.
W hy not make the proposed OHSU tram just one part of a larger aerial network that circles downtown Portland?...This aerial skyway would be a visually stunning transport system that would make Portland unique in the world and help ensure our city's economic future...would rather invest new transportation dollars into a visually stunning mode of nonautomotive travel that improves our local economic climate and contributes substantially to maintaining the excellent quality of our breathable air.
