School Transportation: Back To The Past

Communities around the country are working to take school transportation back to the way it was.
As the percentage of students who walk to school shrinks to below one seventh of what it was in 1970, a national movement is afoot to use the foot as a transportation mode to school. "Fewer than one in 10 children walk or bike to school now, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Thirty years ago, more than two-thirds did."
